Tall Order

Tall Order (a collaboration between Jenn Kidwell, Jess Conda, and Mel Krodman) will host a series of 3 virtual community convenings that will help to create "Party Practice", a patriarchy-defying, dance party and somatic healing ritual that will be communally-led alongside Lutheran Settlement House's Masculinity Action Project and their extended community partners of sex workers, burlesquers, threshold choir, and birth/death doulas. In these non-binary, multi-vocal, ever-shifting performance convenings, Tall Order will share self love rituals and then physicalize them, allowing participants to practice what they need both verbally and non-verbally. These sessions will lead up to the creation of a repeatable score to this “party” that will be shared as it develops in Philadelphia, and at the Under The Radar Festival in NYC in January 2021.
