Meg Foley

Meg will host The Queer Parent Convening, a series of meetings for LGBTQ parents. In several sessions, participants will discuss what it means to "parent queerly" and explore somatic experiences of parenting and childbirth. Meg's goal for the convenings is to focus conversations on childbirth, medical care for queer parents, and the potential euphorias and dysphorias associated with pregnancy, gender, and queerness. Led by trained, birth-worker facilitators, participants will create a zine or artwork that shares advice and resources for others, which will be shared with the help of Philadelphia
