Kristin Auer

Kristin, having grown  up with a disability and with disabled parents, will document the 50 years of Disabled in Action, a grassroots disabled-led nonprofit in Philadelphia. Kristin will record and interview disability rights leaders, archiving photos and posters, and create a website that archives the success and challenges of disability leaders before their stories and histories are lost. Culminating in a final event where community can celebrate 50 years of Disabled in Action, Kristin hopes to lead a call to action to the disabled community and allies that social change is possible.
