The inspiration for much of my work comes from questioning normalcy and the articulation of the abnormal through difference. Over the years, I have combined autobiography and fiction with historical events to explore the ways women have been depicted. The relationship between the physiological and the psychological, in particular, has always fascinated me, and I use photography to investigate this relationship.
