PAAFF Open for Film Submissions!

The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival (PAAFF), now in its 9th year, is officially accepting entries for their 2016 festival season via Without A Box. They are accepting films from Asian and non-Asian filmmakers that either feature Asians in lead roles in front of or behind the camera and/or have stories pertaining to Asian Americans.
Submission Deadlines:
Earlybird April 15
Regular June 1
Late June 5

Eligibility:
• Films must be directed, written, produced, or principally acted by an Asian American and/or Pacific Islander.
• If the director, producer or writer is non-Asian, the film’s subject matter must involve Asians.
• Foreign language films must have English subtitles. 

Philadelphia Asian American Film & Filmmakers is a volunteer run nonprofit organization founded in 2008 to educate and expose the Philadelphia region to films by and about Asian Americans primarily through an annual film festival as well as year round events.The first event of its kind in Philadelphia – a film festival celebrating and elevating the Asian American experience.
