Leeway Foundation's Program Assistant Melissa Hamilton lectures at Temple University (1115 W. Berks Street, Gladfelter Hall, Room 107) on Wednesday, November 11 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. The talk, entitled Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?: Death and Dying in Contemporary Comics, will also feature a reading from her graphic novel, Bookends, a story revolving around the loss of her parents to cancer.
